I’ve Done a Crappy Job of Promoting My Own Blog Tour

April 24, 2012

‘Cause, you know, that’s just how I roll.

Or not.

Have you seen these lovely people who have given me a place on their blog as part of the celebration of Fighting Gravity’s release?

Also, several good friends and colleagues have hosted me as well:

April 12, 2012

It’s almost here! The release of my sci-fi novel, Fighting Gravity!

Are you one of those darling people who review books for the wonderful readers of the world? Would you like to have a go at Fighting Gravity?

Well it’s ready for you.

In fact, if you’re reading this the day it posts, I’m on my way up to Toronto for Ad Astra con and Dragon Moon Press‘s double launch party for my FIGHTING GRAVITY, and for¬†Marie Bilodeau‚Äôs DESTINY‚ÄôS FALL.

Anyway, check¬† out¬†Fighting Gravity on Goodreads to see what advance readers think so far. Better yet, if you’re a book blogger or reviewer, contact me for a free review copy!

I Don’t Think You Unworthy…

March 20, 2012

Because you’re my friend. I love you. </lame attempt at humor>

I haven’t asked you to host a stop on my¬† FIGHTING GRAVITY blog tour simply because I hired someone else to organize it. (Goddess Fish Promotions. Check them out.)

In other words, I haven’t asked anyone.

But some of my favorite internet people still stop ’round these parts, even with¬†5MinuteFiction gone, so I hope it’s clear:

If you’d like to have me stop by your blog as part of the craziness that will be me promoting my first novel, (release date April, 18, 2012) by all means, please ask. I’d be honored.

I Feel Naked

March 15, 2012

So…here’s the blog without 5MinuteFiction.

Granted, I’ve done lots of redecorating (pardon the mess) that has nothing to do with 5MinuteFiction moving to Nicole’s site. But still, it feels a bit…empty without it. I do miss it. But I’ve got SO much else going on that I’m glad someone else is taking care of it.

So what’s going on? Oh, well: (Warning, many ALL CAPS coming.)

BOOK LAUNCH!

April 18, 2012 is the official web launch day for FIGHTING GRAVITY. But in reality it’ll be ready before that. Specifically for the LAUNCH PARTY at Ad Astra. This is a con I’ve never attended but has hosted launch parties for Dragon Moon Press books for the last three years. J.M. Frey’s was last year.

Speaking of Jess, I get to meet her and my editor Gabrielle Harbowy. Let’s not neglect to mention that the LAUNCH PARTY isn’t just for my FIGHTING GRAVITY, but it’s for¬†Marie Bilodeau’s DESTINY’S FALL.

While I’ll be flying back from Ad Astra, (hopefully not hung-over), the official¬†FIGHTING GRAVITY blog tour will commence. It’s being organized by the lovely people at Goddess Fish Promotions who are a heck of a lot more organized than I am. So YAY! for them. I think it’s going to be fun. Check out where I’m stopping and all that I’m blathering about.

So, yeah. That’s what’s going on.

What the heck’s everyone else been up to?
